Chapter 68. Not a Disease, This Is Poison
Adrianna’s POV
“I will try.” I shouldn’t be saying this, yet here I am saying what I shouldn’t.
Bianca came closer to me and rested her head on my shoulder. “Thank you so much, Adrianna, you don’t know how much this means to me,” she said in a low voice.
I didn’t bother to look at her. She was using this to fix whatever existed between her and her best friend. I didn’t blame her, though, because I knew Bianca wouldn’t force me to do something I didn’t want, and I wouldn’t do what I didn’t want either.
But did I want him? The answer was YES. I wanted him so bad that the thought that he might push me away hurt like I was being burned alive.
“Let’s check the rest of the clothes,” she said as she pulled away and stood on her feet. She moved to where the rest of the bags were.
