Chapter 181. Rest
Saelyna followed reluctantly behind her friend, but couldn’t help the warm feeling that crept into her chest. After all, she hadn’t slept so peacefully in ages, especially on a comfortable mattress, without any worries that something could jump out from somewhere and attack her during her slumber; and she was beginning to feel the effects of sleeping outdoors for a couple of hours; however, she was far too excited by this prospect to care, she thought to herself.
They stepped inside and closed the wooden door tightly behind them. Rachel turned around briefly to lock the door, making sure that nobody would bother them, before leading Saelyna further into the tiny cottage.
“Come on, I’lL show you to your room,” Rachel offered.
As she continued, Saelyna observed her surroundings. The place was simple; one bedroom, an attached bathhouse, a kitchenette area and a dining area with two large tables pushed together near the window.
