Chapter 184. Erika
After a few minutes, Gylen gives it one more shove and the doors swing open slowly. He then turns around to face his friend, whose eyes seem to be focused intently on him. When he notices, the boy lets out a shaky breath as he stares back at him. “Come on, we have to go. Let’s go inside,” he says in a firm but quiet tone.
Quain nods and they hurry over to the room, making sure not to make any more loud sounds than necessary. Once they are in, they turn on their torches so as not to be blinded by the sudden lighting. The room is rather small, and consists of nothing but some tables placed randomly in front of two large wooden chairs. One table has some maps on it while another contains some boxes, which they assume were the weapons they need. On the opposite wall stands several chests.
As the two boys make their way through the room and towards the table closest to the door where the maps were, a soft voice calls out to them, causing both boys to stop and look behind them
