Chapter 43. Embrace
“That's dirty, sir. Using my own gun against me,” Dean let out, feigning innocence.
“Of course, I wouldn't want to kill you with my licensed gun,” Aaron replied coldly. “Now back off from her.”
“In your dreams.” From my peripheral vision, I saw Dean elbow Aaron right in the face, making a sharp cut on the side of my forehead. “Stay away, all of you!” Now that the scissor was nowhere near my forehead and Dean had moved away to the corner of the room, I was able to turn my head around properly.
Dean now had the gun in his hand while the small room was filled with Aaron's bodyguards. The window at the back was open, hinting that it was from where Aaron came in.
“Do you want Veronica to live or die? If you want her to live, give her to me. And if you want her to die, I will do the honor,” Dean shouted.
