After that conversation with Dad and Anton this morning, I decided to spend the night at the mansion. Of course, I chose the master’s bedroom. And with that decision, I welcomed the ghosts that came with it.
There’s something strange about the rain. It cleanses the ground of ashes and dust, it bathes plants, and it clears the road from any dirt. But to me, it gives me nothing but memories I do not want to revisit.
