Chapter 165. For a Brief Moment

After half an hour, the team, the media, Ashlene , the teachers and the students were all gathered in the main hall for the commencement of the two-day outreach activity. It’s an open space. A basketball court with no walls, but only a high roof and a concrete floor.
Unlike in the city, it’s not as humid as I expected it to be. Even at 1:30 in the afternoon, it’s windy and shady in the area. One of the things I missed about the countryside. No pollution, no noise and busy streets.
We were given seats on either side. The media has also started rolling the camera. When I asked for details on why they have to cover this, they said it’s for a local network’s celebration of the Humanitarian Day.
It sounded fine, great even so I gave my permission. Though I had a feeling even when I didn’t, Ashlene already pushed for this to happen.
