I was too excited to check Channel 65 to watch the outreach. My wife said they’ll be streaming it live in celebration of the Humanitarian Day.
Right after dinner, I positioned myself in front of the television in the living room and prepared popcorn and instant coffee. It’s a weekend, and as much as I wanted to offer my moral support to Ashlene, I have a case brief to finish soon so I have to stay here for that.
The case brief is only a quarter finished. It’s because I’m caught up with everything else on my schedule.
As soon as the television segment was on, I straightened my back and turned the volume up. It’s here. Wow, my wife’s on television.
The segment started with the principal saying his thanks to the donors, to the guests, and to the people who came and visited the elementary school. She even mentioned Dylan and the Ridley's last name. Quick shots of the two were placed on the frame.
“She looks so pretty. That’s my girl…”
