The weekend came quicker than I could ever prepare for.
I meant physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Dad and Anton had to leave early so they could finalize their drafts for the defenses they needed for Monday, and I didn’t get to see them at breakfast. Because the law office was busy with the upcoming hearing, Dylan had to leave before the clock struck 8 am, too.
When I got down to the kitchen at around 8:30, none of my family was there anymore. So I had my sticky rice, mango, and fresh oat milk by myself, scrolling through social media posts on my phone. Until there was no more interesting content, I put my phone down. That’s enough social media for today.
