Chapter 51. Unpacked Bags

The next few days started to get loose. Compared to the busy week we had previously, this time, we got off from the office at exactly 5 in the afternoon. No more overtime work, no more extra tasks to finish at home.
The last hearing went well, and as Anton said, it seemed like the case was leaning in our favor. The whole office was hopeful for a win.
Back at the mansion, Ashlene had already completed her law school requirements and had sent them to St. Nicks Law via email. She received a confirmatory email, and her application was pending with the university. After checking her credentials, there would be a panel interview as a second stage of the admission process. Way to go, huh?
As of now, it was a Friday evening, and Ashlene had just gotten out of the shower. She was drying her hair with a mini towel as she walked out. Another full-body towel was covering her nudity.
“Have you checked my email while I was in the shower?” she asked me.
