Before I started the engine, I cast one last gaze around the large compound, turned to her, and told her that I might decide to kill any man who tried to seduce or entice her with money for the fun of it. She smiled one more time as I drove through the gate and headed home.
I knew I’d see her again because, from that day onwards, the thought of seeing my sister was the second driving force that gave me a strange kind of hope and belief that I’d be successful in my mission.
