“Was he always been like that to you?” Uriel asked as he was putting water in a small basin from the river. “I thought you two were already close to each other?”
What I only did was to furrow my eyebrows and blink at him. I unconsciously placed my hand on my chest and felt a sharp pang on it due to the physical impact when I hit the ground a while ago. My eyes went to the tree house where I suspect Victor is right now.
“No,” I confidently said with a small voice, though. “He was not like that. Prince Arthur would never do such a thing to me. He has always been soft and gentle. Not… like that.”
“Hmmm,” he hummed. “I am thinking about something, but I am not a hundred percent, though.”
“Like what?”
“That maybe Victor, the true owner of his body, is controlling his mind and emotions. Maybe Prince Arthur’s soul is there, but he is not completely him,” Uriel said and lifted the basin that was full of water f
