When the town was deserted and there were no mortals around, the wizards and witches began to go down the road so they could surround us. Their hands were still glowing as if they would use them if we attacked. There were so many and their faces were horrendous.

“Hmmm, the gods must be funny,” a witch said with hands of red glow. “I could burn her right now since she is a vampire. Why did they pick her?”

Burn? Red glow? Then does that mean that her powers are fire?

Her comrades giggled, and an ugly wizard also provided a remark.

“I was nervous for this time to come, but she is just an easy prey, especially since she is a woman.”
