Chapter 108. A Morning Filled With Confusion

Lena’s POV

I woke up with a pounding headache and a dull ache in my neck. The spot where Lucas’s fangs had grazed me still tingled faintly, like some strange reminder of what almost happened.

Why did he almost mark me? Why did he stop? The more I thought about it, the more confused I became. I was sure what to make out of it.
