Chapter 148. Shopping Spree

Lena’s POV

Spain in the evening had this golden glow that made everything look like a painting. The four of us, Daisy, Madison, Cassandra, and I, strolled down the busy street with shopping bags dangling from our wrists like trophies.

In case you’re wondering, I found a way to escape from Lucas because his friends wouldn’t stop blowing his phone with calls. I managed to convince him to go after promising to make it up to him tonight.

We entered another shop filled with all kinds of shoes and a wide smile spread across my lips. The attendants attended to us individually as we tried on different shoes.

When it was time to pay, I stretched Ian’s card to the cashier. I had already used Lucas’s card to pay in the last two shops we visited.

The attendant packed our stuff and we walked out, feeling on top of the world.

Cassandra swung one of her bags and laughed. “I swear, if Lucas and Ian ever see the receipt for today, they’ll pass out.”
