Chapter 150. A New Management

Lucas’s POV

Morning sunlight filtered through the large window of my office, casting long shadows across the polished floor. It was only an hour ago that we saw Micheal off at the airport.

My mom, aunt Liv and Cassandra cried their eyes out when he left but I remained composed, trying not to let the gathering tears in my eyes fall. Of course, Micheal knew me more than anyone and he immediately pulled me into a hug, making a tear roll down my cheeks.

“You’re an Alpha, you can’t cry in public.” He reminded me and secretly wiped my tears without anyone noticing.

I knew I was going to miss him a lot but seeing that he had reconciled with Cassandra, I had hope that he would find a way to visit soon. He definitely wouldn’t stay away for long.

A sharp knock rapped on the door, pulling me out of my thoughts. “Come in,” I answered.

Liam stepped inside, his expression tight. “Alpha, we received information from Pretakis company a few minutes ago.”
