Lena’s POV

“Mom?” I called, drawing both their attention to me.

Lucas let out a frustrated sigh while she walked to me with a bright smile on her face and hugged me. “Welcome dear.” she pulled away and said with a pout on her face. “I prepared a couple photo shoots for you and Lucas. The outfits, the Photographer and the stylist are all ready but Lucas is refusing to do it.”

“That’s really nice, Mom but I think you should have told us beforehand.” I smiled sheepishly. “It’s coming a bit too sudden.”

Her face dropped and she turned away. “I guess I’ll just cancel everything then.” She sniffed and wiped a fake tear from her face. “I just wanted to do something nice for my son and his mate, so they can have beautiful pre wedding pictures to look back at but I can’t blame them for not appreciating it.”
