I shut the door to my room quietly, as if the sound alone could betray the war raging inside my chest.

The entire time, I was in the living room with Uncle Zayne and everyone else discussing the plan to figure out Lena’s location and save her first before we can decide a permanent way to end the Rogue Alpha.

All that was to stop me from going to save Lena alone but I doubted that was really going to work.
