Darkness faded slowly, replaced by a dull ache at the back of my head.

The first thing I heard was a voice. A voice I knew far too well.

“Alpha Lucas would be going crazy by now,” the voice said and he chuckled. “I didn’t trust you at first, but it seems I was wrong after all.”
