Chapter 166. You’re Safe Now

Lena’s POV

I had no idea how long I had been kept there because I couldn’t tell what time of day it was but it felt like an extremely long time.

Earlier, the strange rogue man who I later found out was the Rogue Alpha came by and called Lucas right in front of me. They put a tape in my mouth again, so I wouldn’t say anything.

He somehow allowed me to speak to him and I quickly used that opportunity to warn Lucas not to come but every one of my words fell on deaf ears.

Before the Rogue Alpha left, I overheard him say that Lucas has already gotten into their car and was already being taken to their location.

Fear gripped me but I knew all I could do was pray that Lucas had a good plan to survive this ordeal.

Time went by and I was waiting in the basement on any news on Lucas.

The door to the basement creaked open, and my heart dropped the moment I saw Trevor step inside with a pleased look in face.

Seeing that alone terrified me.<
