Chapter 177. The Good News

Lena’s POV

I was sitting on the balcony of my room, waiting for Liana to come over. I was extremely bored with nothing to do and Theo advised me that I shouldn’t go outside.

He didn’t say why but I found out when I entered my social media pages. People have been sending death threats and calling me names because they also believed that I tried to kill Lucas.

I tried not to let it get to me but it did, so I decided to stay off social media for a while.

Just as I picked up my new phone to dial Liana’s number, I saw a strange car drive into the compound and I stared at it in confusion, wondering who it might be.

The car finally stopped and my eyes widened when Liana stepped out. I quickly stood up and rushed downstairs.

I met Liana walking into the living room and we ran into each other’s arms.

“Liana.”

“Lena.”

We held each other tight and tears clouded my sight.

“I’m so happy that you are out of there,” she pulled away
