After talking to Liana, I realised that talking to Kael could actually bring the truth to light. Kael was always proud of his evil deeds and would never let anyone take credit for what he did.
I never even thought about it, I just supported Uncle Zayne and Micheal to keep Kael out of access to any one at all. He was dangerous and unpredictable.
If talking to him could bring out the truth about Lena’s accusation and get me dinner with Liana, then why not?
There was so much back and forth because I could finally get permission to talk to him but it was already at the last minute because we had just three hours to Lena’s court hearing and her freedom solely depends on Kael’s words.
The cold morning air bit into my skin as I stood outside the special detention facility reserved for criminals too dangerous for ordinary prisons.
The kind of place that didn’t hold thieves or murderers but monsters like Kael.
