Austin’s POV

The hospital was free from reporters the next morning after the news of Jordan Carter’s survival had spread like wild fire across the city. I made my way to check on him myself and I met his private doctor who was now attending to him since Lena took a leave for sometime.

She deserved it because of the physical and mental stress she went through because of Jordan Carter.

“How is he?” I asked the doctor.

“He’s doing fine. His wounds are healing but in a slow pace because of the severity. He should be awake soon,” he responded.

I nodded. “That’s good.”
