Chapter 34. Don’t Hesitate to Call Me

Lena’s POV

My heart was beating hard in my chest as I tried to revive Jordan Carter. I prayed in my heart that he survived because I was going to lose it if I lost another patient.

I was unfortunate to have lost two patients in my entire career as a doctor and I knew how hard it hit me. It made me rethink why I chose to be a doctor. Losing another one would make me lose it, especially when it was a powerful werewolf like Jordan Carter. There won’t be a comeback from it.

Jordan Carter would be able to heal himself and survive as long as he got through the danger phase which gave me hope but the hope was looking so dim as his heart was failing right in front of me.

“Please wake up.” I begged as my hands were going numb from giving him CPR.

I was about to break into tears when the lines of the monitor suddenly began to move again.

“Dr. Pretakis, you did it. He’s back,” the junior male doctor behind me announced with a bright smile on his face.
