After getting a text from Daisy, I left the house and went to a cafe in the shopping mall. I sat at the corner table, stirring my cappuccino lazily as I waited for Daisy. I was about to text her when a sleek black car pulled up outside, and sure enough, Austin stepped out to open the door for her.

I raised a brow, hiding my smile behind the rim of my cup as Daisy walked in. “Well, well,” I teased the moment she sat down, sliding the menu toward her. “So is the trial boyfriend going to become full time soon?”

She rolled her eyes, trying to look unbothered. “It’s just a ride, he’s not going to get off that trial phase that easily. He is going to be there for a long time.”

“Mm-hm,” I grinned knowingly. “And I’m the Queen of England.”
