Ian’s POV
Running through the woods in the backyard of my house has been like constant therapy for my brain whenever I had too many emotions going through my head. I let my wolf, Jack. take over and feel the fresh air from the woods and smell of nature.
As I approached the house, I slowed down at the entrance and shifted back into my human form. My butler, Jenkins, was waiting for me with a towel and a pair of pants.
“Is my wife home yet?” I asked him as I took the towel and wrapped it around my waist. It was already past 10 pm, she knows better than to stay out late
“She’s still out, sir,” Jenkins replied and quickly added when he saw the frown on my face. “But she’ll be back soon.”
I raised an eyebrow at him when I noticed what he was trying to do. He knew my temper more than anyone, so he was obviously trying to calm me down.
