Lena’s POV
I opened my eyes, feeling a pounding headache and a dry mouth. I groaned in pain as I forced myself out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom.
After freshening up, I made my way downstairs, hoping to get some food and something to help with the hangover.
Katilyn was already in the kitchen, cooking something delicious as I could perceive the sweet aroma all the way from the hallway of my room.
“Good morning, Mrs. Anderson,” she said with a warm smile. “How are you feeling?”
I took a seat at the table and let out a sigh. “Like I’ve been hit by a truck.” I sat on the kitchen counter.
“Here is soup for your hangover.” Katilyn chuckled as she handed the steaming bowl to me. “You had quite a night with the girls, didn’t you?”
I nodded, wincing at the memory of us drinking more than we could handle except for Daisy though. “How did I get home?” I asked.
