Chapter 12. His Rose

After they had signed their contract, Edward immediately dismissed Mila and asked someone to guide her to the nearby hotel he owned.

She needed to stay there for a day before they could go to Louisana because Edward needed to finish his work first. 

They would head to the place where his daughter was hidden. He kept his daughter away from the public, so she wouldn’t get involved in any scandalous situations and gossip.

Mila stayed in her room all day because there was nothing she could do. Edward ordered her to stay in her room, and she obliged.

Edward didn’t mention the child’s name because he wanted to introduce her once they met, eye to eye.

Mila rolled in the bed when she couldn’t believe what was happening. 

She thought she knew what she was doing, but it turned out that she still had many questions in her mind, which Edward didn’t want to answer until they got there.
