Chapter 35. Vague Illusions

"Here, they are the ones we need to watch out for," Edward called Mila as he stacked magazines and photographs on the table.

Mila sighed before she scanned all of those.

"That's Trevor Carter..." Edward pointed at the man in the picture, which Mila was holding.

Edward told her that Trevor was charged with kidnapping Lia and Camilla in the past and was responsible for Camilla's death. He was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment. Even so, Trevor managed to get out of jail.

'Just how money could really do dirty work!'

"They may seem to be good people just by looking at their faces, but their conscience screamed the complete opposite." Mila's voice trembled as she spoke.

She was enraged even more when her gaze landed upon the photograph of Juanito Carter. Still, Mila did not know where precisely those strong and deep emotions were coming from.

She stared at the picture even harder, trying to recall it from Lia's memory, until she suddenly fainted.
