“From today, you’ll be the one to cook for us,” he said.
“You must be joking, right? I have my own problems to deal with. I don’t have time to waste on cooking,” I said, taking a step back.
“You’re not the only one with problems. The problems I have are more than you can imagine,” he said, marching forward and closing the distance between us.
“I don’t care about your problems. I only care about myself. Even if you were on the verge of dying, I couldn’t care less. You don’t deserve sympathy from me or anyone else,” I said, as he grabbed me by the arm and pulled me toward him. My hands landed on his chest.
“What again? Do you want to lament to me how you will make my life a living hell? Just so you know, I’m prepared.”
