I needed someone to talk to, so I went straight to Nora’s house. I couldn’t say anything and burst out with tears, the tears I’d been holding in all through my journey to their house. Nora wasted no time in pulling me into her embrace. I poured out all the pain, letting the tears roll down. I needed them to make me feel better. I don’t know for how long we stood in that position.
