He was right, and I knew he was only trying to help the situation. “It just sucks.”
“Then stop wallowing in what has already happened. You cannot change the past. You have a chance, perhaps a last chance, to reconcile with your sister and the pack.”
I exhaled shakily and nodded, accepting the task’s weight ahead. “Yes, you’re right. I can’t let this go on any longer. I will do everything in my power to make things right again.”
Rowan smiled. “Then let us get to work. Atlas will be here soon. You must prepare yourself and gather the courage to face the pack.”
