Avery’s POV

“I will be back inside.” I say to Ethan, trying so hard not to stare at his distracting chest and abs. He doesn’t reply, and I take it as my cue to leave. I am already climbing the steps to leave the pool when I hear Ethan’s voice.

“Running away already?”

I pause and turn to face him. “What do you mean?”

Ethan walks towards me, a sexy grin on his lips. “I mean,” and with one pull, I find my back pressed against his chest.

“Why run away after seducing me?”
