Ethan’s POV
“No. I didn’t lie to you about what happened back then. This is the only thing I have been hiding from you.” Estella muttered, moving forward to hold my hand.
Gavin gave a small cough, and we both looked at him. “Where is it?”
Estella brought out a small glass box from her bag. Inside the box was a sparkling diamond necklace. I quirked a brow as I wondered if this was his engagement gift to her or something. I found it hard to believe that the both of them crossed paths or even got married.
“Your sister is quite determined. She approached me while I was in for a visit to the country years ago after your father died to propose a marriage and protect the Lorenzo heritage from your granduncles. I was never interested, but she stole my family’s heirloom and promised to return it only after I married her.” Gavin explained as if reading my thoughts.
