“You have to leave this house, Zev. That way I will be assured that you won’t end up falling in love with him too.”

My hands trembled around her body, but I held her still.

I couldn’t believe my ears; I don’t want to believe her words. She can’t be that desperate right? She can’t possibly want to throw me out because of her forbidden desires for her step-brother that dsn’t even give a shit about her. Is our friendship not really worth much that she is willing to throw it all away?
