“Kaya, breathe,” I tell her.

I think she might be hyperventilating, but there’s no reason for that. I’ve just finished styling her hair into beach waves that flow all the way down her back, and she’s got the perfect amount of makeup on, a natural look since she’s already so pretty, she doesn’t really need makeup at all. It’s just enough to highlight her features a little.

“I keep forgetting to!” she complains. “Oh, my Goddess. What if he doesn’t like me?!”

“He’s going to love you,” I assure her, patting her shoulder.
