“Been a while since we’ve been here,” I tell Simon and Hank as we walk toward the training grounds.

“No kidding,” Hank agrees. “It’s been more like real battles are becoming the training, we’ve had so many.”

“That would be fine with me if innocent civilians weren’t involved,” Simon adds. “The more we cut down Assanan’s army, the better. But he’s attacking cities and harming our people.”
