Luka's POV

My heart ached as I watched Crystina crying, blaming herself for the risk she and her baby would be facing. I didn't know what else to say to make her believe that it wasn't her fault. Things get complicated in life sometimes and during those times, we try to find an explanation as to why things are like that but unfortunately, we don't get to know why most of the time.

After she calmed down, we went back to the doctor's office to let him know we'll be going ahead with the pregnancy. Crystina's decision wasn't the best but I was ready to stick with her. I'm scared, the heavens know how sacred I am but I can't let that show because Crystina needs me the most at this every moment.

The doctor advised us on some of the things that she should avoid doing, some foods she should stay away from, and instead of a monthly visit to the hospital, it has to be weekly. If it gets better, he'll allow us to come every two weeks.
