Chapter 22. Elena's Tears
~Valtoria~
Valtoria was nothing like I expected. Given the type of king they had and the kind of merciless sons he had, I expected a darker, more grim city. I expected black buildings and eternally dark clouds hovering above the landscape, blocking the sun from reaching the ground for eternity, making the city look like it was a victim of an apocalyptic event, but it turned out that Valtoria was even more beautiful than all of the Andreian cities put together.
Unlike Andreia, Valtoria was one large city filled with glimmering gold and silver-themed buildings, standing tall and almost touching the clouds. The smaller buildings below were beautifully designed, looking like structures that couldn’t exist in reality, like the responsible architects and engineers were wizards of the art.
