“So, what exactly is going on here?” Elena asked as her eyes darted from one royal figure to the other. Three rulers sat in front of her at a large round table made of thick, heavy glass: King Tharos, the troll king; Queen Meridah, the queen of the fairies; and King Arthur, the young ruler of Eldridge.
Elena was beyond nervous, hoping she wouldn’t say something that would forever ruin her image before these great figures. She subconsciously played with her feet and finger as her eyes moved between the three kings.
“We’ve called you here today not only to let you know that we are aware that King Japhet has taken the Argarian lands and killed your people, but to also ask for your assistance in reclaiming those lands.
King Japhet might have more military power than our kingdoms individually, but we believe together we can force him to release the rights to those fields to the rightful owner, you,” Queen Meridah said with a smile.
