Chapter 60. Barge in
The dimly lit meeting hall echoed with the clicking of the Archon's metal boots. Lord Aethon, wearing his uniform—light armor on a white robe—walked up a short staircase, behind a podium, and sat down on a seat reserved for him. As he did, flame torches lit up all around the meeting hall, revealing the faces of the other kings who sat behind their individual podiums.
Lord Aethon, with his eyes closed, pushed out a soft breath through his mouth. As he opened his eyes, he said, “This meeting shall now commence.”

“So, here’s the plan,” Arthur said, looking up at Elena. Him, Elena, and Annalyn sat in his tent late in the evening, discussing their plans to infiltrate the castle and storm through the doors of the meeting hall.
