Chapter 7. Savored

Even on the cellphone, I could feel his anger there. The smell of alcohol seemed to disappear from my system. “Red, I’ll be going first. I’m being sent home.” I bid goodbye to Red.

“All right! I’m busy.” The man laughed. Yeah, they are busy.

I was in the car but I couldn’t understand my nervousness. I was ashamed of the driver. It’s past eleven, and it’s close to twelve. Why did I enjoy the dance so much?! I’m so nervous. “Did Sir Marco call?” I asked the driver.

“Yes, ma’am! He called me a few times. I also looked for you inside but couldn’t find you, ma’am.” He said to me.

“I’m sorry for the inconvenience.?”

“It’s okay, ma’am. That’s part of the job. I’m really surprised that sir is with a woman again. I thought you were his girlfriend.” Cesar told me. Again? So then he was with a woman in the condo? My heart was slightly crushed by what I heard. I don’t know but I’m not in a position to ask.
