Chapter 30. Why Was He So Annoyed with Her?

Brooklyn was relieved, as she didn’t want more complications in her life. For the next four hours, they toured the entire production plant, and Nikolas took an update on everything. Brooklyn took down notes, complaints and issues that they were facing at the Winery.

Finally, they climbed into the car and Nikolas drove away. Brooklyn’s feet were aching from all that running around, and she just wanted to open her shoes and climb into her bed. Expectantly, she looked around, but it seemed as if Nikolas had other plans. Instead of driving towards the villa, he seemed to drive somewhere else.

“Where are we going now? Are we done at the production center?” she couldn’t help but ask him. If they weren’t going back, she could change out of these clothes and catch up on some sleep.
