The luna and Anika both look frightened. The luna places her hand over her bump protectively and Anika just looks scared.

I don't pay much attention to why they are scared of me when I'm the one who is obviously hurt. I'm more concerned about what I heard.

"You spoke English." It wasn't a question and her lack of response confirmed what I already knew. "You know how to speak it." I say again, my voice growing louder as more of my memories flood back. "You hit me in the head!" I'm yelling now.
