Chapter 34. Morning Light

The bedroom was quiet when Beck pushed the door open; his eyes went straight to the bed. He had left the room earlier in the morning because he didn’t want them to wake up and see him in their room like a creep.

The blanket covering him confused him for a moment, but he figured it was Jared who had covered him sometime during the night.

Hayden and Myla were still asleep, the two of them tangled together beneath the thick blanket, her head tucked under his chin while his arm was locked protectively around her waist.
