Chapter 51. Strange Behavior

Owen’s POV

Parties were not really my scene. If not because, as the Alpha’s son, I had to make an appearance, I wouldn’t have come at all. I took a seat, holding a cup of alcohol in my hands. Alcohol wasn’t allowed because most of them were still underage, but do teenagers ever listen? Of course not. I had no idea how they smuggled alcohol in with nobody finding out. I took a sip from the glass.

"May I sit with you?" a girl asked politely. I glanced at the space beside me and she took a seat.

"Thank you," she said with a smile. I never asked her to sit though.

"It’s been a while since the village has been this lively. True to the name of your pack. You all bring sunshine to wherever you go," she continued. I continued sipping my drink without replying when I suddenly caught sight of Genevieve with Nolan.

"But it seems like you don’t speak so often. Others are really chatty, but you are not," she remarked.
