Chapter 55. A Dark Force That Needs to Be Stopped

Genevieve’s POV

We all walked towards the place. The shaman’s house was secluded from the rest of the houses. But there was no one there. The door was locked firmly. I sighed.

"I guess we got left behind for nothing," Jade muttered.

"Who are you looking for?" someone asked. But why did it sound like a little girl’s voice? We glanced at each other before quickly turning around.

"Down here," the person said. I looked down and it was indeed a little girl. A cute and adorable one. She had long black hair that was braided into pigtails and bright sparkling green eyes. They kind of reminded me of someone’s. I willed myself to stop thinking of Owen. I have been doing that since I woke up, every little thing I came in contact with reminded me of him. It was getting frustrating. She was wearing a little green dress that matched her eyes.

"So cute," Andrea cooed, bending down to touch her rosy cheeks excitedly.
