Chapter 52. Flower in Full Bloom

Owen’s POV

And her strength, she pushed me onto the floor without trying too hard. I glanced at my scraped bloody elbow.

"Oh my! I’m so sorry. I didn’t intend to push you," she hurriedly knelt down beside me, her eyes wide open as she stared at my elbow in shock.

"It’s fine. I’m sure you didn’t mean to," I responded.

"How can this be fine? You got hurt because of me. All I wanted was for you to listen to me and get the medicine. I never wanted to hurt you," she responded worriedly.

"I’m alright. It’s just a bruise. Look, it’s healing already," I said, stretching my elbow towards her to assure her so she would stop worrying.

"That’s such a relief. I completely forgot about your healing abilities. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mean it’s okay to get you hurt since you are going to heal anyway. What I mean is…"

"Miss Gonzales," I cut her off.

"Yes?" she mumbled.
