"What?" I asked when they kept glancing at each other and staring at me without saying anything.

"Did we just witness a lover’s spat?" Andrea asked with a raised brow.

"What!?" I screeched.

"We did, her reaction says it all. You don’t have to pretend. We know it was Nolan. We heard his voice loud and clear," Jade responded.

"What are you talking about all of a sudden? What lover’s spat?" I asked in disbelief.

"The very one we just witnessed," Andrea said.

"It’s nothing like that. It’s Nolan. You both know we don’t agree on things and are always arguing. Why are you talking about a lover’s spat when this is how we’ve been since we’ve known each other," I explained.
