The door was unlocked, and I saw him enter. As soon as his eyes landed on mine, the sneer was back. I didn’t wait to be told before I dragged myself down from the bed I’d been lying on since to kneel despite the pain and ache I was feeling. I bowed my head and greeted"Welcome, Alpha"Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed he pulled his somewhat close to me, the old wooden furniture making scraping sounds as their legs dragged through the concrete floor.
