Chapter 21. Strange Man

Winona thought Richard would do more than that. She thought Richard would hurt her again by now, but Winona was wrong. Richard stood up straight again, staring at Winona. Even though Richard didn’t hurt Winona, the aura that came out of Richard made Winona still afraid. He’s too scary for Winona.

“I’m going to let you in and out of your room, but remember, I’m not letting you out of the mansion,” Richard said.

“I’m not a prisoner. It’s not in the contract,” Winona replied. She dared herself, even though her hands were getting cold. Silently, she swallowed her saliva. She didn’t know what Richard would do after this.
